Most athletes feel relief in ~2 weeks. Most athletes are back to full sport, pain-free, by week 7.
You've tried everything to fix your Sever's pain. Nothing works like this.
Your child is active all the time, but as their growth spurt continues, their heel pain has them hobbled and grimacing every time they run, jump, or cut.
You've seen specialists. You've tried rest, ice, heat, tape, orthotics and stretching. But nothing has provided meaningful relief or lasting results.
Doctors say “just wait it out.” But waiting isn't a plan, and every game they miss leaves them further behind their peers.
Treat your Sever's now

Your 7-week journey to pain-free heels
Each phase builds on the last across five parts: gentle heel and foot exercises, calf stretches, progressive strength, movement skill, and a safe return to sport. Most families see pain drop inside two weeks.
-
Calm the heel
Identify the calf tightness, load patterns, and training habits driving the heel growth plate pain, so every exercise targets the right thing from day one. Start gentle heel and foot exercises and carefully chosen calf stretches.
-
Strengthen the base
Progressive loading of the calf and heel bone in a controlled, safe way: the evidence-based method that resolves the injury rather than masking it. Most athletes reach 0/10 pain here.
-
Run, jump, play
Rebuild calf strength, foot stability, and movement skill to return to full training and competition, with a safe return-to-sport plan and no fear of the heel pain coming back next season.

Mike Hope ★★★★★My son had been quietly complaining about heel pain for weeks—hovering around a 4 or 5 out of 10. We tried all the usual things: ice, heat, long warm-ups for his calves and feet before workouts. But after a big track meet followed by a tough practice the next day—boom—it shot up to a 9. He couldn’t even walk. The podiatrist diagnosed him with Sever’s Disease. 1. I had never even heard of it. 2. The only advice we got was to stop all activity for 2 months… or just wait until he finished growing. Neither option was acceptable. He’s an active kid, and that "just wait" advice felt like a dead end. We were frustrated. The first 20 blogs and medical websites we found all said the same thing: stretch (which only made it worse) and wait. Out of sheer desperation, we did an “incognito search” online—and that’s when we found your Core Advantage Sever’s Program. I read everything: the website pages, the published articles, and watched the available videos. It all made complete sense. Finally, someone who understood both the condition and what it takes to get an athlete back safely and stronger. My son started using the Sever’s Program, and—wow—it worked exactly as promised. He was able to return to taekwondo in just 3 weeks, compete in a national tournament at 7 weeks, and is now easing back into track using the Return to Performance plan, carefully following the guidance on volume and intensity. We’re so grateful. Thank you for offering something that actually works when so many others just say “rest and wait.”

Nele H ★★★★★As a orthopedic surgeon specialized in foot and ankle and also sports injuries i was a bit concerned when my 9yo daughter got Schlatter… my physios at work gave her some eccentric knee exercises that didnt work so after 4 months and no sports i found your homepage after some looking around. Rachel L ★★★★★The Severs program did the trick for my 12 year old. Before starting it he was in pain most days and would have to stop playing part way through matches and hobbled away at the end of training. Now hes pain free and knows what to do to prevent it returning. Having scoured the Internet this is the only thing I've come across that's actually made a difference. It's worth mentioning that the program was hard in the first couple of weeks because my son was having to roll out tight muscles which was painful. I'm so glad he pushed through and is now pain free and able to manage his Severs. The program not only has the exercises you need to do but also other tips and info on managing training loads etc. Highly recommended.'

L Gillespie ★★★★★Hi struggling to get in touch. Just left a positive review last night regarding my sons osgoods. Program worked 👍 so much so that I purchased the severs program for my other son who has severs. I paid full price of £80. I thought I read I could get a discount but only just found the code to get 30 % off. You seem fair offering full refund. Please can you refund my 30% . Many thanks for all you’ve done so far on this journey. I hope the severs programme works just as good 👍

Ben King ★★★★★Pain under Control Thanks for the program. We Thought nothing was going to fix the OS disease but it has worked a treat. It was for my 15 year Old Son who has been in pain for about 4 years with OS Severs and other Knee Cap issues but the OS seemed to be the worst. Completing Your 7 week program to the Tee has given him the ability to run - literally pain free. He has his life back and is very happy. Thanks so much.

Tab Geselle ★★★★★We live in Alaska I have 2 boys who play soccer ages 12 and 18. About 8 years ago my oldest son started to have heel pain and played through the pain for a couple years until he fractured the heels of both feet. We didnt know how serious it could get and he had to use a wheelchair to get around for few months. He did a lot of physical therapy and rehab to get back to soccer again only to have Osgood's pop up in his knees a few years later. Again more therapy pt time off supplements ice tons of stretching you name it. Nothing really helped that much. He played varsity in high school but his level of play never got back to where it was and he always had some pain. So when my 12 year old started to complain of a tenderness in the knee I didn't wait for a diagnosis. I knew the symptoms well I searched for a better solution and found this program. We started it right away did it every day to the exact specifications. It worked like a charm. By the second week there was no pain. He continued through the full 7 weeks even if he was traveling for tournaments. I recommended it for another boy on the team who had Osgoods but he broke his femur before he was able to start the program. I have passed on the info to the entire team. I think every player could benefit from this program at age 12 and continue it through the growing years. I actually did the program with him just to support him and I felt so much more flexible and my legs felt younger. Which sounds weird but I wasn't creaky and stiff in the mornings anymore and no more tight IT bands coming down the steep mountain slopes! I just can't say enough about it! And now my 12 year old has not missed any key games and tournaments due to injuries. He was selected for a youth academy team in Oregon the western regional olympic development team and an elite player camp in Arizona. We are going to continue this program even though he has no pain as much as possible through the growing years. Thank you for offering it online! And sharing it with the world! We would never have been able to go to Melbourne.'

Frequently asked questions
How effective is this program for Sever's Disease?
Incredibly effective. In over 25 years of treating growing athletes we rarely meet a case of Sever's Disease that does not respond to this program.
Most children experience significant pain reduction within the first week, with many returning to sport pain-free before the end of the 7-week program. The program addresses both the symptoms and underlying causes of Sever's Disease, tight calf muscles, weak foot structures, and load management imbalances, which is why the results last, even as your child continues to grow.
It's important to note that while the program isn't hard, it does require consistency. This isn't a magical pill, but a specific exercise routine requiring just a few minutes most days of the week.
How does the program work?
The program is a seven-week progressive rehabilitation plan built around four key components: mobility, strength, tissue health, and gradual load management. Each element works together, gently building function and reducing symptoms as the heel growth plate and surrounding tissue recover and adapt.
Most people feel a meaningful reduction in pain within the first two weeks, while the later stages build the underlying capacity that keeps pain from coming back. Sessions take 10 to 15 minutes a day. All exercises can be completed in a gym or at home, we provide instructions for both.
Everything you need is included: full video instructions for every exercise, written guidance, and weekly progression plans so you always know exactly what to do and when. You'll also get access to our private online support group, where you can ask questions and get answers directly from the Core Advantage coaches throughout your recovery.
How much does it cost?
The program is a single one-time payment, no subscription, no recurring fees, no hidden costs. Pricing is displayed in your local currency at checkout.
Unlike traditional physical therapy, which can mean months of expensive weekly appointments, everything you need is included from day one with lifetime access to all program materials.
And if it's not the right fit, our no-questions-asked 100% money-back guarantee means you can start with complete confidence. For those dealing with both Osgood-Schlatter and Sever's disease, members get 30% off the second program, applied automatically at checkout.
Can my child play sport while doing the Sever's program?
In most cases, yes. We encourage most athletes to continue with at least some of their sport during the program, however each case is unique and a short period of reduced activity may be required for some children.
As a starting point, we recommend reducing training volume by 20–30% for the first two weeks to let the heels calm down while the strengthening work takes effect. From week three onwards, most athletes can gradually return to normal activity levels.
The program includes detailed guidance for managing sporting loads and a structured return-to-sport plan to reduce the risk of setbacks.
What age is this Sever's Disease program suitable for?
The program is designed for children and teenagers aged 8–15, which is the peak age range for Sever's Disease. All exercises are age-appropriate, safe for growing athletes, and can be completed independently by most children with minimal parent supervision.
The program works for both new cases and children who have been struggling with heel pain for months or longer.
Do orthotics or heel cups help with Sever's Disease?
They can provide short-term relief and work well alongside the program. Unlike Osgood Schlatter (where footwear makes little difference), heel wedges and orthotics can be genuinely helpful for Sever's Disease by reducing strain on the Achilles tendon and growth plate.
However, orthotics alone don't address the underlying causes, tight calves, weak foot muscles, and poor load management. Our program builds the strength and flexibility needed for lasting results, so your child isn't dependent on inserts forever.
If you already use orthotics and find them helpful, continue using them during the program.
What equipment do I need for the Sever's program?
Just a foam roller and some floor space. The program is designed to be completed entirely at home in 10 to 15 minutes per day. No gym membership or expensive equipment required.
We recommend a smooth foam roller (not one with spikes) that is at least 30cm long. Softer rollers are better for younger athletes starting out. The rest of the program can be completed with common household items.
Is foam rolling painful for children with Sever's Disease?
The first few sessions can be uncomfortable as tight muscles get used to the pressure, but this improves rapidly, usually within the first week.
Starting with a soft, smooth roller makes a big difference. The discomfort your child feels during rolling is directly related to the muscle tightness contributing to their heel pain, so it's actually a sign the rolling is targeting the right areas.
Most children find rolling becomes tolerable (and even enjoyable) within a few days of consistent practice.
Should I use ice for my child's Sever's Disease heel pain?
You can if it helps with comfort, but most families find they don't need it. Current thinking has moved away from routine icing for overuse injuries like Sever's Disease: it can ease pain briefly, but it doesn't appear to speed the healing itself.
Most families find ice unnecessary once they start the program, as the exercises provide more effective and lasting pain relief.
What if this program doesn't work for my child?
We offer a 100% money-back guarantee. Email us at any point during the seven weeks and we'll offer to help; if you'd still rather have your money back, we refund the full cost, no questions asked and no need to finish first.
Followed consistently, the large majority of cases resolve. Some children respond faster than others, but the general trend is always improvement. You have lifetime access, so there's no rush, your child can progress at their own pace.
What's the difference between Sever's Disease and Osgood Schlatter?
Both are growth-related overuse injuries common in active children, but they affect different areas:
- Sever's Disease causes pain in the heel, where the Achilles tendon attaches to the growing heel bone. It typically affects children aged 8–15.
- Osgood Schlatter causes pain just below the knee, where the patellar tendon attaches to the shinbone. It typically affects children aged 10–16.
Some children develop both conditions. If your child has heel pain and knee pain, we recommend starting with whichever is more severe. Members get 30% off the second program, applied automatically at checkout.
Seven weeks from now, the heel pain is gone.
